Decorated town

While The Pennsville Fire & Rescue Company No. 1 has graciously been escorting Santa & Mrs. Claus to greet all of our fine citizens. This one citizen took a joy ride of his own to explore the many different homes in our town and how they display their holiday cheer. It is a great activity that many families and friends have enjoyed through the years.

Homes that are subtle. Some that are grand. Spiritual remembrances combined with the commercial glitz. White lights, bright lights, crazy lights. Our experiences range from modest to epic. But they make us smile and feel good and appreciate the efforts of those who decorate our town and make it a happy place to live.

How many people remember Pennsylvania Avenue so many years ago? When the house with motorized Peanuts characters would entertain us all. From the point of view of a young child they were magical. And you wanted to get out of the car and touch them. They were state of the art even by today’s standards. And in their time of existence. They left an eternal memory for so many of us.

Happy Christmas lights exploring to you all!
